Now all buildings that will be built higher than three floors will have a “Garbage Room”. A system will be set up to separate garbage, plastic, glass, paper and vegetable waste oils in the kitchens of residences in buildings with more than three floors.
The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization is preparing to make changes in the zoning regulation. The aim is to separate the garbage on-site and to prevent damage to the environment in this way. The elimination of the garbage bins in the houses and the garbage collection areas in front of the buildings in their images. The ministry envisages the establishment of a “Waste Chimney System” in the New Buildings to be Constructed. An electronic system will be installed in the apartments in the buildings. The system will be created in such a way that it will be connected to the chimney through pipes. There will be separate buttons for glass, paper, plastic and vegetable oil wastes on the electronic system. and wastes will be emptied into the hopper opened by pressing the button.
The waste discharged from the chimney will be sent to the collection center established under the buildings through pipes. It is also aimed to bring the wastes collected in a center as separated into the economy through recycling. The system will also be installed in existing buildings with appropriate architecture.
