What are the Pressure Valve and its Benefits?
The cooled air in cold storage tanks exerts pressure inward. When the cold storage device performs the defrost function, it applies outward pressure due to the expansion of the heated air. As a result of this pressure, the cold storage panels and door constantly flex and are damaged over time.
The pressure balancing valve prevents the cold storage panels and door from being damaged by throwing out the pressure in the cold storage. The flaps on the pressure balancing valve open and close under pressure conditions, therefore no external heat loss occurs. Low watt resistance is used to prevent the valves from freezing. Pressure balancing valves are manufactured from hygienic plastic material.
