General Features of Cold Room Panel

Cold room panels are extremely lightweight because they are constructed using rigid polyurethane foam as a core material between colored steel sheets. This feature also provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, thus reducing the structural requirements for the building.

The panels' galvanized steel surface is coated with a double coating of paint. This protects the panels from corrosion even in wet, high-humidity environments. A deep white coating is the standard color for cold room panels. Other colors and materials are also available through special applications.

All panel joints in the wall, ceiling, and floor must have a specially designed sleeve. This prevents condensation. This sleeve joint must be positioned precisely to align. Otherwise, condensation problems may occur.
